We're back!!!

Hiya pals!!

We're so happy to be back to blogging again!! Our humans returned from their vacation about a week ago and we were so excited to see them!! We had a great time at Reba's house and even got some digging time in!! :D

Sorry we didn't post about our return earlier, our humans are ending their summer vacation and are very busy as they are getting ready to return to work and stuff (they're gonna be even busier.. yikes!!). We haven't caught up with all of your blogs... but we have been reading some of them, even if we haven't posted comments. Our mommy even thought of stopping blogging, but that'd be too hard. We love you too much!! (By the way, our first Blogoversary just passed on August 14th).

During our humans' trip to Los Angeles, San Diego, and other places around those areas, they visited lots of really neat places.

On their first day of their trip, they went to a really pretty cathedral in L.A. called the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

During their visit to the cathedral, our humans thought of all our blogging pals who needed prayers. So they lit a candle fur all of YOU because you are all very special to us. Our humans prayed fur all our pals, whether they were sick, lost, had crossed the Rainbow Bridge, or even if they were in perfect health.

This is the candle they lit fur you guys:

Outside the cathedral, there was a small garden with animal statues.

After they were done walking around the Cathedral, they headed to Hollywood Boulevard. And guess whose star they saw on the ground?

After Hollywood Blv, they turned in fur the day.

The next day, they went to Legoland. These were some dogs and cats and a few birdies that they spotted there:

They even saw a GIANT seagull on top of a building!! (click on the pic to zoom in)

The day after Legoland was Disneyland.

This was a column with some evil squirrels looking all innocent. (We think it was outside the Snow White ride)

Then some humans dressed up as felines (we think) danced at the parade.

But at Disney California Adventures (the day after Disneyland), they saw THIS beauty (or beauties):

The day after, they went to Universal Studios. There they got to see a show about animals!!!

On their last day, our humans drove to Beverly Hills to look at some really pretty houses (some of which belonged to celebrities, whatever those are...), but the pic that caught our attention was this one... They even have SILVER fire hydrants there!!!! What lucky pooches!!

On their drive back home, our humans stopped at several different missions.

At the San Juan Capistrano Mission, they saw this dog in a painting:

And at that same mission, they saw this horse statue:

Then, they went to another mission called La Purisima Concepcion.

There were corrals there with sheep, horses, and a bull.

When they finally arrived to pick us up from Reba's house, Reba's humans told them that we had been digging, which is why we were all dirty. But nevertheless, our humans let us cover them with kisses because they were so happy to see us.

A week later after they returned from the trip (in other words, today), Maya was outside in the garden while our mommy was doing some yard work.

A few minutes after Maya was let into the yard, our mommy found a huge hole behind a tree.

And right when our mommy said "EEeeeeehhh!! WHO DID THIS!?!", Maya ran and hid behind a bush. But our mommy turned out to be smarter than we thought and she spotted Maya right away.

So.... thanks to MAYA.... Grrr... Our trip began with a bath, and ended with a bath..... *sigh*....

THANKS A LOT SIS!

Hope your day didn't end like ours!!

PS. We received some awards during the time we were gone, but we'll display them in another post because this post is getting quite lengthy....

Short Vacation

Hiya!!

We just thought we'd let you know that tonight, we'll be leaving to go to our furiend Reba's, house because tomorrow really early in the morning our humans are gonna go fur a short vacation to Los Angeles (around 5-6 days).

Our humans just gave us a shower so that'd we'd smell all good and stuff fur when we go to Reba's house later today (we thought we smelled good before the shower... now we smell like icky pawfume..).

We'll miss you guys!

But every night, we'll be sure to look up at the night sky and pray at the dog star so that all our pals, whether they be sick, lost, in a struggle, or anything else, are ok and get better soon.

*Update*

We got the following peemail from a group on Dogster:

Post this ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE!!

I got a message from one of our pals on dogster.. (My little Demon -445302)

She was telling me about their animal control. Theres a guy that gasses the animals the DAY they come into the shelter. He has no intention of finding their home or even finding them a new home. He even has a home built chamber box with a hose to a gas engine that he gases them in. He was fired from 5 villages after complaints and protests and on probation from 1 for assulting a pet owner over his animal. His "man" is a MONSTER!! He needs to be STOPED! we as pet owners and lovers can NOT allow this idiot to get away with killing our beloved pets!!

The worst part about this is that Demon's family adopted out one of their puppies who is now 16 months old. The owner that adopted that puppy turned him into this animal control and we are all worried about him! Demon's human mom is tring her hardest to get him out and home safe!

If you live in the PA area and you have any ideas please contact Demon her ID is listed above. (445302).. Even if you dont live in the PA area and you think you can help please contact her.

We could use EVERYONE's prayers here. May God be with all those animals in this monster man's care.

There is a link for an organization that is trying to stop him but I am still waiting on that link from Demon. Ill post it as soon as I get it.

Please cross post this EVERYWHERE!!

Thanks everyone,
Love,
Toto! (691628)

Ps- Here is 1 of MANY articles that she found on the Animal Control MONSTER: http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/13436210/detail.html

Okay.. we understand that there is an overpopulation of animals. But gassing them the same day they are captured is just too much! Killing is not the only solution.... and certainly not by gassing the poor, helpless animals! It's just inhumane!! We're wondering... if the world thought gassing people back in WWII in the death camps was cruel and inhumane (and of course we agree), why is it any different with animals? We're animals too!!!

NOMS Day!

Happy NOMS Day everyone!

The Cat Realm suggested these ideas to celebrate NOMS Day, but you can celebrate it any way you think appropriate:

Find a nomss (not-of-my-species-special) friend if you don't have one yet.

Find more noms (not-of-my-species) friends. One can never have too may noms friends!

Have a party with your noms friends. Tell us about them!

Make a post about Noms Day to spread the word and most importantly to promote tolerance towards each and everyone!

Tell your humans about it and urge them to observe Noms Day also. You know that species stands for:
species, race, religion, culture, nationality, language, profession, political party, and so forth - right?

We're celebrating it by posting about our NOMSS furiend Ruis, who asked us to be his NOMSS Furiend (Not-Of-My-Species-Special Furiend) on February this year. And we gladly accepted!

We then each posted about each other, introducing our new NOMSS Furiend(s) to our pals. (Ruis' post) (Our post)

It's great having furiends who aren't necessarily from your own kind, because regardless of looks, furiends will always be there fur you and they care about you. That's what furiendship really is. And NOMS Day is about that - unconditional love between furiends.

We know Ruis is with Karl at the moment on a wonderful safari trip (making even more NOMS furiends), but we're thinking of you Ruis, no matter how far away you might be!

We're also very happy to have other NOMS furiends! (We're not gonna write the names because we're afraid we'll miss some of you, but we know who you are! :D Love ya!)

If anyone is looking fur a Not-Of-My-Species-SPECIAL Furiend, go here!

Happy NOMS Day!

Awards

Yesterday, Hershey and Kaci awarded us with three really pawsome awards!

Thanks sweet furiends! We're really honored!

We know we have to pass these awards on to 7 furiends (we think!), but most of you have them already. So if you don't, please take them! We think all of our pals deserve these awards!

Hope you all have a great day!
