Hiya pals!!
On their first day of their trip, they went to a really pretty cathedral in L.A. called the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
During their visit to the cathedral, our humans thought of all our blogging pals who needed prayers. So they lit a candle fur all of YOU because you are all very special to us. Our humans prayed fur all our pals, whether they were sick, lost, had crossed the Rainbow Bridge, or even if they were in perfect health.
This is the candle they lit fur you guys:
Outside the cathedral, there was a small garden with animal statues.
After they were done walking around the Cathedral, they headed to Hollywood Boulevard. And guess whose star they saw on the ground?
After Hollywood Blv, they turned in fur the day.
The next day, they went to Legoland. These were some dogs and cats and a few birdies that they spotted there:
They even saw a GIANT seagull on top of a building!! (click on the pic to zoom in)
The day after Legoland was Disneyland.
This was a column with some evil squirrels looking all innocent. (We think it was outside the Snow White ride)
Then some humans dressed up as felines (we think) danced at the parade.
But at Disney California Adventures (the day after Disneyland), they saw THIS beauty (or beauties):
The day after, they went to Universal Studios. There they got to see a show about animals!!!
On their last day, our humans drove to Beverly Hills to look at some really pretty houses (some of which belonged to celebrities, whatever those are...), but the pic that caught our attention was this one... They even have SILVER fire hydrants there!!!! What lucky pooches!!
On their drive back home, our humans stopped at several different missions.
At the San Juan Capistrano Mission, they saw this dog in a painting:
And at that same mission, they saw this horse statue:
Then, they went to another mission called La Purisima Concepcion.
There were corrals there with sheep, horses, and a bull.
When they finally arrived to pick us up from Reba's house, Reba's humans told them that we had been digging, which is why we were all dirty. But nevertheless, our humans let us cover them with kisses because they were so happy to see us.
A week later after they returned from the trip (in other words, today), Maya was outside in the garden while our mommy was doing some yard work.
A few minutes after Maya was let into the yard, our mommy found a huge hole behind a tree.
And right when our mommy said "EEeeeeehhh!! WHO DID THIS!?!", Maya ran and hid behind a bush. But our mommy turned out to be smarter than we thought and she spotted Maya right away.
So.... thanks to MAYA.... Grrr... Our trip began with a bath, and ended with a bath..... *sigh*....
PS. We received some awards during the time we were gone, but we'll display them in another post because this post is getting quite lengthy....
