Prezzies!!

Hi everydoggy!!
Sorry we haven't posted in a while...quite a bit of things have happened...but mommy was too lazy to post. Well, the thursday before Christmas, we got haircuts, and well, we have to admit, we looked pretty good!! I know we shouldn't be saying that since we're dogs and all, but all that hair in our faces was kinda getting in the way, you know? So yea.. Unluckily, we don't have any pics of us clean and fresh right after the grooming, but the pics below are pretty current.

Anyways, getting back to the main subject of this post, we had a PAWSOME Christmas!! Our humans went to a friend's house fur dinner, but they didn't stay fur too long. When they came back, it was time to open prezzies!!! Woohoo!! First, we got one present each from our stockings, then each of our humans got one, and then we got another one from our stockings, and so one. It went in a circle. Inside our stockings, we got lots of cute, little stuffed toys with winter themes. Our human mommy gave us blankets with doggy prints on them and these would be used on the sofa so that we would be warm (that's what they said it was fur, but we think differently, we think it was surely so that we wouldn't get the sofas DIRTY....humans *sigh*....). We also got bones from a good friend/cousin of ours called Anna. She is a cute little shih tzu and she lives like an hour or two away from us, we visited her a couple of weeks ago.

This is a hot chocolate stuffed toy.

These are three giant tennis balls which are as hard as rocks!! Chasing them is fun, but the fun ends when they stop rolling. Can't humans think a little? How are we supposed to fit these bigger-than-baseballs, diamond-hard things in our mouths?!?

This is Maya sitting on a chair next to her stocking.

This is Kena sitting on a sofa next to her stocking.

Okay, the little reindeer is a decoration, not a toy (but how are we supposed to tell?), and the pink thing behind it is a stuffed toy in the shape of a mitten. Plus it squeaks!!

And you can probably see the reindeer rope toy right there.

And this is both of us sitting in front of our Christmas tree. This Christmas tree was SO sticky though, it was kind of funny seeing our humans opening their presents and getting the wrapping paper stuck to their hands with all the tree sap on them. They had to use little wipes to clean their hands after opening each present. BOL..

Well, that's pretty much it! We had a really good time!! Oh! And we forgot to tell you that we went to Vasona Park (kinda far from where we live but worth it) the night before Christmas Eve. There, one drives around in their car through the big park full of Christmas lights in different shapes showing different scenes. There were dinosaurs, there was a Santa playing basketball, a pirate ship, and lots lots more. It was really cold though, so we took our brand new coats which our human daddy bought us with a little begging from our human sister.

Until next post!!
Wags and licks,
Maya and Kena

You both got great pressies! Yes, those tennis balls are a wee bit too big for your mouth. I guess you'll have to drive them with your whole body to push them along! Your haircuts look awesome!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
