Sorry we haven't been around lately...

Hey everybody!

We're REALLY sorry we haven't been blogging lately... we've missed you all and feel horrible that we haven't been able to tell you we were just busy... we're truly sorry if we worried you...

We've been missing out on so much, haven't we? We have tons of posts to read and it will take furever to catch up on everything, but we are determined...

When we received news of Bruno's crossing to the Rainbow Bridge, we were devastated and felt horrible. But we are consoled by the fact that he is bounding around happily and pain-free up above, and that he is looking down over his family and friends. We really miss him... His mommy told us that even though it was REALLY hard fur her to let him go, she knew that it was the only way he could escape the pain. She told us that Bruno gave her a look that told her it was time. We're still crying...

Right now we don't have much time to write about everything (including some tags... sorry, we'll get to those ASAP), so we'll just post some pics of our latest adventure on a hike we went to last weekend. It was really pretty there and the view was amazing.

First we went to the Milpitas Dog Park, which is located in the county park there. It had two areas: a big dog area and a small dog area. We went to the small dog area, which had big, shady trees (and the big dog area had small trees, hee hee!).

If you looked past the big dog area, there were some hills fur hiking, and we saw some horses on the trail.

Then this cute Beagle who was in the big dog area, came over to the fence and greeted us. We think his/her name was Hollywood, we're not sure.

Then after some time playing at the dog park and doing our business, our humans decided that we should go hiking on the trail where we had seen the horses. When we first entered the trail, we saw some squirrels running around and escaping from us into their holes in the ground. Maya went crazy when she saw one, but they were too quick.

Like we said before, the view was amazing, and this was just at the beginning of the hike, it got way prettier the higher you went (but we didn't go that far because we weren't prepared with food or water, we had initially come to see only the dog park).

(Most of these pics have Maya in them because my human sis took the pics and Kena was with our human mom and brother up ahead.)

We had a great time and we were REALLY tired after the hike, which fur some reason made our humans really happy and satisfied.

We are sad to hear about Bruno's passing....

Your Milpitas dog park looks really cool! Have you been to the Union City Drigon dog park? It is bone shaped!!!
