On the Fourth of July, there was a parade in a nearby neighbourhood, and we decided to take Maya with us and check it out, Kena couldn't come because she wasn't allowed outside yet. The parade was great! There were really nice cars and hot rods as well, there were horses, policemen, firemen, floats, and people with their bikes. We followed the parade to a park nearby, where the firemen were going to wet everyone with the hoses (And of course, they wouldn't shoot the water straight at the people, they sprayed it in the air). There were tons of dogs as well, and they had Fourth of July clothes and ribbons. Maya was also celebrating the spirit, she was wearing a Fourt of July ribbon on her collar. When the firemen sprayed the water, everyone was shouting with joy! It was so much fun! The water felt extremely refreshing in the hot summer weather. Maya also enjoyed the water, as you can see in the picture above...
