Koobuss' Pawty

We are really behind on our blogging... and so we'll try our bestest to catch up ASAP.

So, as many of you know, Koobuss had a Valentine Ski Pawty at Mount Hairy Lodge, which tons of doggies attended. At first, we thought we wouldn't be able to go because our humans were way too busy to help us pack and stuff. But then, sweet Asta offered to take us along with her and her sis Myrna and we were so happy that we could make it! Thank you so much Asta, you're pawsome!!

We tagged along with Asta until we arrived at the pawty, then we kind of got lost because it was the first time we went to a pawty and we didn't know what to do. And then, later on, when we realized no one was outside (it was FREEZING!), we went back to the lodge and realized that we had to register. So we did, and from there on, the fun began. At first, when everyone was outside in the cold weather having tons of fun, we didn't dare step out into the snow. We were not used to these temperatures at all... so we stayed inside fur the whole first day of the pawty, drinking WARM hot chocolates (made especially fur doggies, so it wasn't real chocolate).



But then on day two, it turned out that some doggies were getting together at the whirlpool to relax. And of course, since it didn't involve any snow or it wasn't something out in the cold, we joined them in the warm water.

On day three- the last day before we left fur home- we decided that we should give the cold weather a try since we were probably not gonna see snow any time soon. And so we did, we took a deep breath and stepped outside to join all the doggies in sledding.

It tuned out to be pretty fun!! We couldn't believe we had been missing out on THIS!!

After a day full of excitement, we all settled down and and called Gus to the lounge, where he arrived to find a SUPRISE!!! We sang "Happy Barkday" and then had a delicious cake.

Later that day, we decided to go hang out at the casino. We got a little lucky, but not as lucky as Asta Marie, who won enough to pay fur all of the expenses of the pawty!! Wow!! Either way, we had tons of fun!!

Then, we heard that a live musician was playing, and that he was singing some of our favorite doggy songs, so we left the casino and joined everyone who was already there and danced along to the great tunes!

What can we say, we had the time of our lives!! We will try to go to as many pawties as possible, because now we know why everyone is always excited when there is a pawty. We've missed on a lot!!

Thank you fur the great time Koobuss!! The pawty was pawfect!!

And Asta, we truly can't thank you enough!! We wouldn't have had this pawsome time if it weren't fur you!! We love you!!
